TroCuri -card grading

Trading Card grading.

How we condition every card on a 1 to 10 scale.

Every card is graded by TroCuri on the PSA scale, calibrated against real PSA-graded reference cards - then a person signs off.

How TroCuri grades.

TroCuri grades cards on the PSA 1 to 10 scale using PSA's official, word-for-word grade definitions - and it is calibrated against 14 real PSA-graded reference cards, from PSA 1 all the way to PSA 10 (including half-grades and Authentic / Altered examples), so its eye is anchored to genuine professional grades rather than a guess. It scores the PSA Four C's - Centering, Corners, Edges, and Surface - plus print quality, color, and gloss. If a card is already slabbed (PSA, BGS, SGC, CGC, or HGA), TroCuri recognizes the holder and reads the grade off it instead of re-grading. Then it prices the card from real, recent sold comps.

Grading is one step of TroCuri, the AI pipeline we built in-house at Thrift By Mail: it also identifies each item, scrapes recent sold comps, recommends a fair price, and composes the listing before a person reviews it.

What it looks at.

The 1 to 10 card grade scale

What you get on every listing.

AI-assisted, human-confirmed.

Our grades are careful in-house estimates that help us set fair prices and give you clear expectations. They are not a replacement for professional third-party grading such as CGC, PSA, or PCGS. When an item has been professionally graded, the listing says so. If there is a flaw, it is in the photos and the description.
